One of the main attractions of glass is being able to see through it, but that benefit is somewhat lessened when metal or wood support posts have to be erected every couple of feet. Go frameless, and you'll barely notice the fencing when viewing the pool from your home. That's great when you'd prefer to take in the view beyond, and it also means you'll be able to keep a closer eye on your kids when they're splashing around by themselves.
Easy Maintenance and Cleaning
There's no getting around it; cleaning your pool fencing is not a fun job, and you'll need to do it relatively frequently if you want the glass to stay looking its best. Going for frameless glass doesn't eliminate the need to clean entirely, but it does make the process much easier. Instead of having to clean around posts, which often present plenty of tight corners and hard-to-reach places, you'll simply wipe down each expanse of glass quickly and easily. Since each pane is embedded below the ground, you don't need to worry about cleaning around supports.
Very Small Gaps
Framed fencing can actually leave relatively large gaps between each piece of glass. Sure, those gaps might not be big enough for you to get through or even for a small child to get through, but children may be able to slip a leg or arm through, and smaller pets and pests may be able to scoot through and gain access to your pool. The whole point of pool fencing is to increase safety, so it makes sense to avoid those risks by opting for frameless glass.
Boost Your Property Value
You've probably been told that adding a pool to your property can increase its value, but the operative word is 'can'. While a pool might sometimes be seen as a plus, most potential buyers aren't going to be interested if they don't find the pool appealing. Since frameless pools look so modern and attractive, they tend to be more desirable and help push up a property's value. Additionally, you can let any potential buyers know about the reduced maintenance and greater safety that comes with such a setup.
